Renowned young musicians bring their talent to Island

MUSICTHE globally renowned Trinity Junior Symphony Orchestra, from the Trinity College of Music, Greenwich, is coming to the Island.

A concert, featuring music by Vivaldi, Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich, will be held at All Saints’ Church, Ryde, at 7.30pm on Wednesday, August 25.

The orchestra, which is visiting the IW for the first time following concerts in Paris, Germany and Belgium, is a Saturday school for talented young musicians aged between three and 19.

Tickets are available from IW Rotary clubs and tourist information centres, with proceeds going to the Rotary Foundation.
