MUSICTHE brilliant flautist, Adam Walker, will be running a free workshop, organised by West Wight Arts Association, at Freshwater Memorial Hall on Saturday, April 10.
Adam, who became principal flute with the London Symphony Orchestra when he was only 21, will be accompanied by Sally Pryce, the renowned harp player.
Participants in the session will be able to experience how beautifuly these two instruments combine.
Muffins and squash will be available on arrival and the session, lasting one hour, starts at 3pm. The two musicians will be returning for a joint concert in the evening at 7.30pm, and this will feature music by Bach, Saint-Saens, Faure, Debussy and Piazolla.
Tickets for the evening concert are available from Mackenzie Arthur each weekday from March 29, after 10am.
