MUSICTHE Vecks have issued a big thank you to everyone who supported the launch of their latest EP.
Revellers packed into the Wight Rock Bar at Ryde last Friday to hear the Island band perform songs from Heroic Deeds, plus some of their older material and two covers — Pumped up Kicks by Foster the People and In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins.
The band sold 50 EPs.
The group’s frontman, Jack Skinner, said: "If people wish to buy a copy, they can contact us personally over Facebook, e-mail or through BandCamp. A big thank you to everyone who turned up."
The Vecks will perform in the regional final of Live and Unsigned later this month and will also play V-Dub, Bestival and Seaview’s Party on the Prom.
