Last year's winner, Benji.
THE search is on for the most talented performers across the Island and Southampton.
Last year, acts ranging from belly dancers to singer-songwriters performed in the final of Red Hot Talent, which is sponsored by Red Funnel, The County Press, the Southern Daily Echo, Britvic J20 and Wave 105.
The flamboyant Benji finally got the nod from judges, winning £1,000 and a contract to perform on Red Funnel ferries during the summer holiday season.
This year, in addition to those prizes, the winner will get the chance to play at Bestival at Robin Hill in September.
Ten Island acts have entered out of a total of 25 and the IW heat will take place on Wednesday, April 14, with the top four from the online poll going for places in the final, at the University of Southampton on Wednesday, May 5.
Bestival curator Rob Da Bank has joined the judging panel.
But first, you have the chance to vote for your favourites to go forward to the Island heat by logging on to the County Press website: www.iwcp.co.uk/redhottalent/
Voting ends on March 29.
