Crystal Palace go into Saturday's game with Sheffield Wednesday aiming for their third sucessive away win.

Before last night's (Tuesday) home match with Coventry, the Eagles had won their three league games this year and moved back in the play-off positions.

Hayden Mullins will miss the trip to Sheffield after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Gillingham and has been handed a one-match ban. Otherwise, Trevor Francis will have a fully-fit squad to choose from.

Wednesday were languishing fourth from bottom in the table before the local derby with United on Tuesday, having won two of their previous eight league games.

Palace had beaten the Owls 4-1 at Selhurst Park back in September.

Meanwhile, Andrejs Rubins has returned to Palace after an unsuccessful week trial with French club Troyes. The Latvian international had hoped to impress in order to secure a permanent move, but now his future hangs in the balance.

A club spokesman said: "Andrejs' trial at Troyes didn't work out."

Francis has been linked with a move for Nottingham Forest's Stern John.

John, a Trinidad and Tobago international, can leave The City Ground at the end of the season via the Bosman ruling, however Palace would like to sign him before that to boost their promotion hopes.
