MUSICINTERNATIONALLY renowned trumpeter Crispian Steele-Perkins is to return to the Island for two concerts.
Having started his career the English National Opera and the Royal Philharmonic, he is also known for his performance of the Antiques Roadshow theme.
He will perform at All Saints’ Church, Ryde, on Friday, August 6, and Freshwater Memorial Hall on Saturday,August 7, when he will be joined by soprano Carmen Leek and pianist Leslie Pearson.
Ms Leek has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, as part of the Proms, the Barbican and Westminster Cathedral.
Mr Pearson has performed on film scores, including Four Weddings and a Funeral, and for television programmes, including Dr Who, Poirot and Lovejoy.
He regularly performs for the royal family, including a performance at the wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles.
