MUSIC A CONCERT in aid of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice is taking place in Ventnor.

Volante Piano Trio will be performing at St Catherine’s Church next Friday, August 3.

Pianist and student at Trinity Music College, London, Sally Halsey has arranged the concert as an opportunity for her trio to give a public recital and raise money for the hospice.

Fellow students Jaya Hanley and Sarah James also study at Trinity.

The programme will include a Beethoven trio and a romantic Shostakovich piece, together with other shorter pieces.

Entry is by programme on the door, £5 for adults and children are free.
