NETTLES FAMILY ALERT OVER BONES FIND

By Gavin Foster THE FAMILY of missing Cowes teenager Damien Nettles have been informed that human bones - said by police to be those of a teenage male - have been discovered on a beach at Warsash, Southampton.
The Nettles family, who now live in Texas, have been notified of the discovery of bones while police launch a full search of the area and take DNA samples to try to identify the bones.
Although Damien, 16, went missing while walking from Cowes to his Gurnard home in November, 1996, the bones are believed to be less than four years old.
The parents of Daniel Nolan who was last seen in the Hamble on January 1, 2001, have also been notified.
