PRIMARY school pupils in Chipperfield, Kings Langley and Bovingdon are set to embark upon essential lessons in life next term, as organised by Dacorum Borough Council.

The lessons are set to focus on a number of themes, including the dangers of drugs, dealing with bullying and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

They have been co-ordinated by the borough council in connection with Dacorum Police and other interested organisations. This follows funding from Communities Against Drugs (CAD).

Pupils across all year groups are to participate in the lessons which will be divided into two main projects entitled Life Skills Days and Keeping Healthy, Staying Safe.

Both projects aim to encourage children and young people to be aware of the dangers in their local area, and to take an important role in strengthening their communities resistance to drugs.
