SPARKLING Shanklin hosted a regatta to remember — capped by a spectacular fireworks display on the seafront.
Hundreds of people headed for Shanklin Esplanade last Thursday for Shanklin Beach Regatta, which was first held in 1851.
"We were lucky with the weather and it was great to see so many people on the seafront having fun," said Shanklin mayor Denyse Larner.
