ONE person was taken to hospital after an accident on the Downs Road on Sunday afternoon.
A van and a car were in collision at Knighton Shute at about 4pm and the car overturned. The occupant was cut free by firefighters, put on a spinal board and taken to St Mary’s Hospital with suspected whiplash injuries.
