Accolade for Rookley Country Park campsite

ROOKLEY Country Park is one of the best holiday campsites in the country, according to a national Sunday newspaper, which named the Island campsite as one of the top ten in the UK.

The Sunday Mirror described the four-star holiday village as "fun for all", praising its weekly firework display and vibrant fishing community, which offers lessons to beginners. Sian Caldicott, of the park’s parent company, Island View Holidays, said: "We are delighted to be recognised as one of the best holiday sites in the country."

She attributed the park’s success to the wide range of activities on offer for residents, such as swimming and crazy golf.

She said: "It is great to have our efforts recognised by a national newspaper as well as our visitors."
