AN ISLE of Wight jobseeker whose inventive effort to find work led to him making headlines around the world has landed a job — and is planning to say thank you in an equally eye-catching way.

Adam Pacitti spent his last £500 on a London billboard to promote his job hunt, directing prospective employers to a specially created website with a video CV and details of his previous projects.

Within days Adam, 24, of Albert Street, Ryde, found himself at the centre of global attention, featured on websites across the world and the subject of a social media storm.

"The original tweet I sent out had about 1,600 retweets and personal endorsements from people such as Jeremy Vine, Al Murray and Frank Skinner. I had thousands of e-mails and an unbelievable amount of interest, which has taken me the last month to go through," said Adam.

The stunt landed him an interview with Keo, a production company, which has hired Adam as a viral video producer, creating films for the internet.

And to say thanks to all those who have supported him Adam has splashed out on a new billboard, unveiled in London today (Friday).
