THE Hampshire and IW Air Ambulance will be improving its essential medical service by upgrading its helicopters.

From June, the charity will be operating with an enhanced model of the Eurocopter 135.

Tony Nicholson, chairman of the Hampshire and IW Air Ambulance Service, said: "We are very happy to have been able to arrange this with our partner, Bond Air Services.

"The trustees are committed to continuous development and this move is the next step.

"Everything that will help our crews to deliver our vital service has to be good news for all those who depend on us."

This is great news. I have said in the past the Air Ambulance service has saved so many lives and I hope it will continue to do so. Support this service always, you never know when you might need it!
