BUSINESS NEWSBUSINESSES teamed up for a wedding photoshoot as part of a plan to work together and promote each other.
The Royal Hotel, Ventnor, hosted the event, organised by bespoke wedding specialist, Dornellie, where the businesses’ work was captured by IW Wedding Photographer Chris Cowley.
The shoot featured the talents and products of Harmony Beauty, Scotts Hairsalon in Ventnor, china and accessory hire company, Wight Vintage, button bouquet specialists, I Heart Buttons, and jewellers Isle of Wight Pearl.
Dornellie was launched by Karen Robb in 2009, when she was a costume maker, working on West End productions and films, including Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and Elizabeth, the Golden Age.
Last year, she decided to concentrate on Dornellie, named after her grandmother and inspiration, Dora Nellie, a milliner.
Karen, who also plans to introduce vintage-style wedding dresses, said: "It worked really well. Everyone can use the photographs and we are all going to link to each other on our websites and will recommend each other."
Earlier in the day, the group put together a royal wedding-inspired shoot, showcasing the Royal Hotel’s afternoon teas.
