A DARTFORD model, filmed for a TV show about a drama course, revealed her dream role wwould be Kat in EastEnders.

Louisa Maretti, of Princes Road, Dartford, was one of 20 models chosen for MTA (Model Turned Actor) showing tonight (Wednesday) on Channel 4.

The 20-year-old, who had a bit-part in EastEnders as a stripper, told the News Shopper her TV heroine was Jessie Wallace who plays man-eater Kat.

"I'd love to play a part like Kat because I love her fieriness," she said.

Louisa, who has modelled clothes for lifestyle magazines such as Vogue, said the three-month crash course on acting had given her "more confidence" to chase her dream.

But she branded acting coach Kate Marlow, who is shown on the programme bringing models to tears, as colder than Pop Idol judge Simon Cowell.

She said: "Kate was very strict, very hard and very cold. She's worse than Simon Cowell. She was such a prim and proper, go-home-to-the-husband sort of person.

"But in class she would come out with loads of swear words and ask us loads of personal questions to break us down."

"We all had a grilling but you have to get your childhood traumas out to be able to create an acting role.

However, Louisa was one of 14 models to stick out the course and is currently looking for new roles.
