Angel set to take wing soon

By County Press Reporter

Saturday, February 6, 2010

ANGEL Radio Isle of Wight hopes to be back on 91.50 FM during February.

The stricken station says it has been inundated with hundreds of messages,

e-mails and letters of support since the wet weather of the week before Christmas damaged its aerial and put the station off air.

A new aerial and cable needed to be ordered and the snow after Christmas, with the seasonal shut-down, delayed the supplies still further.

The station continues to broadcast 24 hours a day on Wight Cable and also on the internet via its website.
