THOUSANDS of music lovers are expected to flock to a Notting Hill-style festival in Gravesend.
The Multicultural Education and Youth Association (MEYA) is organising the first river-side one-day musical extravaganza of its kind in Gravesend.
Bhangra supergroup Heera, traditional Punjab folk musicians and local acts Four by Four, Lethal Soundz and Rooh Punjab Dee will perform at the open air MEYA Musical Mela, on August 5, from 1pm.
Up to 3,000 revellers are expected to attend the family day out, which will also include a fun fair and traditional Indian food stalls. For more information, call 0207 777 7984.
