CUTE fluffy rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, a lizard and even a snake proved a hit with residents at Inver House residential home, Bembridge.
People at the home became acquainted with furry and scaly friends during a visit from Pets at Home staff.
They were able to hold and stroke the creatures with, surprisingly, the snake proving to be a huge hit among the elderly residents.
It is the second time an animal visit has been organised by activity co-ordinators, Jemma Coleman and Karen Wheeler.
Jemma said: "They give them to the residents to handle and it brings back memories for them, they talk about pets they used to have.
"We were surprised by the number of residents who would handle the snake with confidence. They had a great time."
