THE latest of the new-style Isle of Wight tourist information points (TIPs) has opened for business.
Seven bistro in Brighstone has a comprehensive display of tourist information booklets and leaflets for visitors to the picturesque village.
Seven owners Michael Fairhurst and Carol Doble have embraced the idea of businesses hosting the TIPs.
It follows the opening of the first two in Ryde and Shanklin in recent weeks.
Visit Isle of Wight chief executive David Thornton and members of Brighstone Parish Council were on hand as Alan Marriott, editor of the County Press, cut the ribbon to mark the opening last Thursday.
Mr Thornton said he was grateful to the owners of Seven for hosting the TIP and was hoping to open more in the coming weeks, with Yarmouth and Godshill among the target areas.
He said: "We have used tasteful branding outside the Seven premises and I am sure Carol, Michael and their staff will make visitors welcome."
