UPDATED WEDNESDAY 08:37*

AN appeal has been launched by Isle of Wight police to help find a man who went missing on Sunday.

Kai Mansell, 30, was last seen on Sunday, February 9, at a house in Carisbrooke.

He was described as white, about 5ft 9ins tall with black hair and green eyes and was wearing a grey zip up hoody, with a diamond pattern across the shoulders, and blue and white trainers.

PC Dave Cooper said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Kai’s welfare. He is very well known on the Island and has many contacts.

"If you have seen him or know where he is please contact me as soon as possible.

"Equally I would appeal to Kia to contact police to let us know he’s ok."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Cooper at Newport Police Station on 101.

*Police confirmed on Wednesday that Mr Mansell had been found safe and well.
