Appeal for witnesses after assault

POLICE on the Isle of Wight have appealed for information following an alleged assault, involving four men, on the green outside LA Bowl, Ryde on Wednesday, June 20.

PC Christopher Worsfold said: "I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.

"We are particularly keen to speak to a white man dressed in black with a white circle emblem on the top left of his jacket."

Three men from the Isle of Wight have been arrested in connection with the incident, a 21-year-old man, a 25-year-old man and a 37-year-old-man.

All three have been bailed pending further enquires to report back to police on July 20.
