Appeal for witnesses after takeaway assault

The two people Isle of Wight police would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Cowes.

POLICE have released CCTV footage of witnesses they want to question about an assault on a 46-year-old man in Cowes.

The assault occurred on Saturday, October 27, in the Dalyan Kebab House on Birmingham Road, Cowes.

The victim suffered facial injuries after he challenged another customer about his aggressive behaviour.

An investigating officer said: "The CCTV image shows members of the public in the shop at the time.

"We would like to identify these people and speak to them to help assist our enquiries. If you think this may have been you, or you know who it could be, please contact the police."
