A sea rescue display takes place at 2.30pm, followed by a performance by the Vectis Corps of Drums and a cadet competition on the beach.
Fifties and 60s music will be performed by Alive and Kicking between 5.30pm and 6.30pm, before Proms in the Park at 7.30pm. A fireworks display at 10.15pm will bring the event to a close.
• A flag raising ceremony to honour the armed forces will be held in Newport on Monday.
The specially-commissioned flag will be hoisted in St Thomas’s Square at 10am, before the flag is moved to its permanent location at County Hall.
Dignitaries and representatives of the Royal British Legion will attend the ceremony and anyone is welcome.
