ARMED police surrounded a Sandown property this evening (Friday).
Police were called at 3.30pm when a member of the public reported concerns for a man inside an address on Downsview Road.
Isle of Wight police said that the incident is "contained within the address".
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area.
