A WEEKEND of music from around the world ended last night with the infectious rhythms of Columbian Latin funk courtesy of La Chiva Gantiva.
The three-day Rhythmtree festival at Calbourne was also the scene of a triumphant return to an Isle of Wight stage by local heroes The Bees and British reggae superstars Aswad.
Music came from around the world and many different genres, from experimental to medieval, and reggae to kletzmer, with several local bands also making their presence felt thank to Plastic Mermaids, Duveau and Floella Grace and Fellowship of Groove to name but four.
For full round-up and pictures, see the Isle of Wight County Press, on Friday, July 25.
