The Queen's Golden Jubilee will be celebrated with a week of special events in Shenley this summer and the organisers are searching for volunteers to help out.
Shenley Fete and Carnival Committee is planning a series of entertainments for the week leading up to the fete and carnival procession, on Sunday, June 16.
The programme is likely to include a teenage disco, a tea dance and a ballet performance, although the committee has yet to finalise its plans.
Anyone who has any ideas for the celebrations, or who would be willing to help behind the scenes at events, is asked to call Paul Racibowski on 07767 351784.
