ARTS festival, the Brading Bash, returns this weekend, with music, magic, dance and literature on the bill.
The event, first held last year, kicked off today (Friday) and venues across the town will host entertainment of all kinds.
Crime writers Bob and Carol Bridgestock gave a talk St Mary’s Church Hall this morning.
Other highlights today include free entry to the Lilliput Toy and Doll Museum, an introduction to writing and publishing children’s books by Jules Marriner at the Roman Villa and an arts and crafts exhibition at St Mary’s Church.
There will be live music throughout the weekend, including performances from Lucid, The Cardinal Richelieu and FaT Samba.
Accordion player Karen Tweed, who has performed on the Island twice before, will return for a gig at St Mary’s Church tomorrow (Saturday).
Promoters Vaguely Sunny said her concerts would see her exploring her roots in the Irish tradition, mixed with influences from Scandinavia and England.
On Sunday she will run music workshops at the Brading Centre.
