An auction is to be held to raise money for the Sophie Rolf KissyPuppy fund.
PEOPLE around the country have been invited to support a Facebook auction to raise money for Isle of Wight youngster Sophie Rolf and her fund KissyPuppy.
Plans to hold an online auction at Christmas were moved forward by fundraiser Michaela White after a recent scan revealed five-year-old Sophie’s inoperable brain tumour had almost doubled in size.
Michaela, who is a full-time carer to her six-year-old son Nathan, said: "It's taken off like nobody's business. We only started it on Thursday night and by Friday over 3,000 people had been invited to the auction.
"The Facebook page is to say it's happening and keep people updated and on September 27, at 7pm, a link to a group will appear.
"In that group will be all the items on offer and people can start bidding for them in the comments section. It's that simple."
Michaela, who has hosted auctions for other poorly Isle of Wight children including Chelsea Turner and Lottie Rann, has already received many offers of items for donation, but appealed for more.
She said: "This will hopefully be an auction like no other and we have lots of items pledged already including jewellery, experiences, cakes, vouchers, perfume, photo-shoots and hand crafts.
"The plan is to have 100 items but if we get more than that, brilliant. It's already amazed me the amount of people that want to help."
The auction will run from 7pm on September 27, to 8pm on October 4. To join the group click here.
