The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) IW and the Isle of Wight Society are holding their annual design and conservation awards on Friday.
Awards from RIBA IW will be given to established architects working on Island projects and the Isle of Wight Society awards will be awarded to property owners, builders, designers and conservation specialists.
Both awards are judged on innovation, design and sympathetic conservation.
There are also awards for young designers, who had to come up with an innovative new way to transport people up and down Shanklin cliff as an alternative to the lift.
Tickets for the awards ceremony at the Royal Yacht Squadron, Cowes, are available from iwdca.committee@gmail.com or info@isleofwightsociety.org.uk.
They can also be bought at East Cowes Heritage Centre, 8 Clarence Road.
Last year's Isle of Wight Society conservation award winner, The Bandstand, Culver Parade, Sandown, has been shortlisted for a Civic Voice Design Award 2017.
