Members of the Barnet Borough's Senior Citizens' Forum will present their report, Older People: New Times -- Meeting the Challenge.
They will be joined by Barnet's new mayor Jack Cohen with guest speaker, Barnet's head of planning and development Tessa Harding, and Help The Aged representatives.
The forum is also planning a campaign, which it hopes to get off the ground this summer, against the Government's Green Paper on pensions. They want to see the return of the state pension. When the Paper was released the forum's chairman Stan Davison said: "It seems that the intention is to let the state pension wither on the vine."
