Bad weather set to continue

HEAVY rain and strong winds are set to batter the Isle of Wight again this week.

The Met Office has issued a series of weather warnings valid from tomorrow (Tuesday) to Friday.

The first 'be aware' warning for heavy rain is in force from 00.15am to 1pm tomorrow.

*A further warning for rain is in place from 9am to 9pm on Wednesday. This warning was originally in effect until 6am on Thursday.

There is also a 'be aware' warning for strong wind from noon on Wednesday to 3am on Thursday.

Another warning has been issued for heavy rain from 3pm to 11.45pm on Friday.
