BAKERS young and old had the chance to show off their talents in a charity bake-off on Sunday.

The Great Isle of Wight Bake Off at Nodehill Middle School was organised by the Island team at the cooking supplies company, The Pampered Chef.

There were entries from 36 bakers, the youngest aged just two years old, which raised £345 for Cancer Research.

The Island bake off was part of a national fundraising effort by The Pampered Chef, which has raised £850,000 for the charity in the last four years.

Restaurant critics Matt and Cat judged the competition, giving feedback to all the competitors.
