BANDS will do battle in the first event of its kind tomorrow (Saturday).
The Isle of Wight's first Band On Da Run will start at 12pm, and bands involved will have six hours to play as many of the designated venues as possible.
The band to play an original ten-minute acoustic set in the most venues will win £1,000.
Prizes will be awarded at an after party at Newport's William Coppin, from 7pm.
All money raised will go to Island causes.
Band On Da Run will be held in the following venues:
Newport/Carisbrooke — The Waverley, The Eight Bells, Gunville Ambassador Snooker Club, The Crispin, Rocket Ronnies Pool Hall, The Railway Tavern, The Real Ale House, Yates, House of Legends, Hogshead, The Princess Royal, The Prince of Wales, The George Inn, Southern Vectis Sports and Social Club, The Conservative Club, The William Coppin.
Cowes — Lugleys of Cowes, The Waterside, The Fountain Hotel, The Anchor Inn, The Vectis Tavern, The Horseshoe Inn, The Travellers Joy, The Kingston Arms, The Portland Inn, The Painters Arms, The Duke of York, White Stuff Clothing Outlet, Octopus Garden Cafe.
Ryde — The Falcon, The Star Inn, The Castle Inn, Kazbah, The Marine Bar, The Pavillion Bar (Ryde Superbowl), The Solent Inn, The Swans Nest Inn, Bagel Wrap, The King Lud, The Blacksheep Bar, The Fleming Arms.
