Barratt Homes named as Pan developer

BARRATT Homes has been, on Friday night, named as the developer for the massive housing scheme at Pan on the outskirts of Newport.
Barratts, known as one of Britain's biggest housebuilders, were announced as the appointed bidder by IW Council members Cllr Dawn Cousins and Cllr Peter Bingham.
The major development of more than 800 homes is expected to take a number of years to complete.
A ten-day cooling off period under EU rules now follows before the contract is finalised.
