A scene from last year’s Nativity play at Wootton Bridge.
Three kings are needed and they must all be on horseback for Wootton Bridge’s roving Nativity play, to be staged in December.
Event organiser Ann Capps has issued a call for three horsemen to take part in the play on December 13 as the three kings, who appeared in last year’s performance, had to stand down.
Now, she is on the lookout for kings and their steeds to replace them.
Ann said: "Unfortunately, the lovely people playing the kings last year are unable to take part.
"So we are looking for riders who would be willing to make the Christmas story come to life."
The story starts with Mary, Joseph and their donkey making their way down the village High Street towards the Sloop Inn, followed by the audience.
The stable is in the Ivy Hall and all the characters of the story come together to complete a tableau.
The story is narrated so the kings will not need to learn any lines. Costumes are also provided.
Volunteers must have a horse or pony that can cope with crowds and the dark. They can call Ann on 884108.
