Bestival: Busta Rhymes to make UK festival debut

Busta Rhymes will make his UK festival debut at Bestival on the Isle of Wight.

US RAPPER Busta Rhymes is to make his first ever UK festival appearance at this year’s Bestival on the Isle of Wight.

Announcing the news this morning (Monday), Bestival curator Rob da Bank said: "I’m such a Busta fan and it’s amazing not just to see him back in the charts with another banger Thank You, but also to know he's getting on the ferry and bringing it to Bestival."

Busta — who is due to r elease Extinction Level Event 2 this year — joins a line-up that already features OutKast, Foals, Beck, Disclosure, Major Lazer and London Grammar.

Well it's original, can't deny him that. Nice to see that given Giddings has booked Kings of Leon who is on the island about as much as I am.

I might popover to have a look at this event if I have time for it. I'll have to see what my workload is like beforehand. Either way, I hope it is a great success...

Ah! Now, I've heard of him! Not my kind of music, but at least he's a bit more well known than the other lot that have been booked! And, Rob da Bank, do you really think he'll hop on a ferry to come here? I doubt it. A quick helicopter flight, do his bit on stage and a quick helicopter flight back!
