AFTER a 12-game winless streak stretching back to November, Boreham Wood were finally able to celebrate on Saturday after Gary Dixon's goal secured an invaluable 1-0 victory at Purfleet.
However, Northwood's Division One promotion ambitions suffered a blow when they went down 2-0 at Bromley.
In Division Two, Hemel Hempstead Town's revival under Tony Kelly continued with a 1-0 victory at Ashford Town, but an injury time equaliser saw Berkhamsted Town held to a 2-2 draw at home by Cheshunt.
Tring Town are now only six points off a top six place in Division Three following their 2-0 win at Chalfont St Peter.
