ANOTHER tremendous display of bowling from Frank Griffiths helped Winchmore Hill to a six-wicket win away to Wembley.

It was cup final day and entertainment levels were low at the Twin Towers but there was no shortage of action down the road as Griffiths ripped into the home innings.

The seamer took five for 25 against Hornsey last week and scored even better figures this time with five for 20. Ahmet Elech took four for 30 as the home side were all out for 95.

In reply, Hill cruised to victory at 96 for four thanks to Andy Varley's 27, Carlos Remy's unbeaten 25 and David Bowen's 16.

Meanwhile unlucky Enfield came up just short of victory over Ealing after a brilliant performance with bat and ball at Lincoln Road.

The home side declared at 229 for nine after a superb batting display and Ealing lost early wickets as they attempted a reply.

But the visitors battled on at the crease and hung on for a draw finishing on 103 for eight.
