Borehamwood historian Mary Hanson has loaned the above photograph to the Elstree and Borehamwood Community History Project.
The picture shows members of the King's Messengers, a children's organisation, taking part in an Easter play at All Saints Church, in Shenley Road, Borehamwood.
Miss Hanson was a member of the cast, and believes the play was produced in around 1948. She said there were probably people in the picture who still live around Borehamwood, and would recognise themselves.
