THAME United will be hoping for a big win on Saturday, playing away against bottom side Barking & East Ham.

The Windmill Roaders only scored once in their last game and will be wanting to get back to the sort of scoring spree that saw them hit 12 in two games in their previous matches.

Barking concede three goals a game at home on average and with Jefferson Louis on trial at Oxford United, manager Andy Sinnott will be looking to him to carry on his good form.

The Thame manager was pleased with the way his side battled to get a draw against promotion-chasing Bognor.

United had some good early chances, most notably from Louis, but Michael Birmingham put Bognor ahead on 35 minutes.

It looked as if Bognor would hold on for a 1-0 victory but Thame kept plugging away and got their reward when, in the third minute of injury time, Nando Perna converted a penalty after Mark West was fouled in the box.

Sinnott said: "We definitely deserved something out of that game. The spirit the lads showed was tremendous."

Wayne Cort faces a fitness test but Thame are otherwise at full strength for Saturday.
