Boat towed to safety

COWES RNLI lifeboat was called into action last night after a keelboat broke free from its mooring during strong winds.

The 23ft Sonar came away from its mooring at about 9.30, when windspeed was about 19 knots, or Force 5.

The Sonar was taken to Shepards Wharf.
