THE body of a middle-aged man was discovered at Yarmouth Pier yesterday (Tuesday).
It was found hanging from part of the pier by a member of the public at around 8.45am and the pier was closed for a short period while police recovered it.
The body has yet to be formally identified.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the Isle of Wight coroner.
