A MOBILE classroom visited Bromley schoolgirls to educate them about the dangers of drugs.

Teacher Louise Stotesbury brought the £56,000 hi-tech classroom, run by Life Education Centres (LEC), to Holy Trinity Convent School, in Plaistow Lane, Bromley.

Mrs Stotesbury, who works with around 13,000 children in the borough each year, also gave Bromley mayor Councillor John Holbrook his very own demonstration of the classroom.

Programmes, which include a talking brain, moving body modules and Harold the singing giraffe, attempt to give children an understanding of themselves, how their bodies function and how to stay healthy.

Working in schools, LEC aims to equip children from the age of three to 15 with the knowledge, self-confidence and decision-making skills to enable them to avoid drug use.
