AN 11-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital after a collision with a car at Coppins Bridge yesterday (Wednesday).
He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital for a check-up following the accident, which occurred at 4.53pm, and was released later the same day.
The 25-year-old driver of the car, a Mazda, has been issued with a summons by police for failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
