A DOCTOR, sailing around Britain to raise funds for brain tumour research after being diagnosed with a tumour herself, was welcomed in Cowes by members of Island charity Brainstrust.
Josie Phillips, 27, and her husband, Roger, from Norwich, hope to raise £20,000 through sponsorship.
Helen Bulbeck, of Brainstrust, said: "We are truly inspired by Josie’s bravery and strength in the face of her brain tumour. Her journey shows real strength of character and gives other patients and their families hope in a time of sadness."
