GLORIOUS May sunshine provided the perfect backdrop for an exhibition of the Island’s top quality bridal services — and raised £500 for the Barely Born Appeal at the same time.
The sell-out bridal tea party held at Ventnor’s Royal Hotel brought together 15 suppliers of bridal services on the Island to showcase their wares and was attended by 60 guests.
The event was organised by Karen Robb from bridal wear company, Dornellie.
She said: "It was not a wedding fair, we wanted it to be more intimate. People were sitting round tables having tea served to them and suppliers came to them to speak to them individually.
"It was a fantastic day weather wise."
