TWO water mains have burst in Ryde, on the Isle of Wight, leaving around 80 homes without water.
The first main burst at around 3am this morning (Saturday), affecting around 20 homes in Meaders Road.
A Southern Water spokesman said repairs were due to be completed shortly and supplies restored soon.
The second main, reported to have burst shortly before 6am, has left around 60 homes in Ashey Road and Rosemary Lane without water.
It was a larger, ten inch main and would take longer to repair, said the spokesman.
Southern Water has apologised to those affected by the bursts.
"We are doing everything we can to restore supplies as quickly as possible," said the spokesman.
