BUS operator Southern Vectis has been forced to cancel the 4th annual Isle of Wight Bustival bus rally, due to be held on April 7.
Matt Kitchin, general manager, said the decision to cancel followed warnings the show field at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Havenstreet, was currently waterlogged.
Mr Kitchin said: "We would rather play safe and cancel rather than see many fine examples of vintage vehicles stranded in mud.
"Bus enthusiasts will still find plenty of reasons to visit the Island as we are now operating the scenic Needles Bus tour and for great views of the southern coat — the Downs Breezer service."

Ps, should they be serving fruit based alcoholic drinks on the bus? That's just asking for trouble.

I must admit, I do like how despite being classic and no-longer-used busses, they manage to keep-up with the modern Southern Vectis timetable..... "cancelled".Real authenticity right there.
