Club members tour Danson Mansion
MARTIN Purslow, director of the Bexley Heritage Trust gave members of the Friends of Danson Park a tour of Danson Mansion.
The house, which is currently undergoing a £2m-plus restoration by English Heritage, will be handed over to the trust to manage when the work is complete. The Friends were formed to involve local people in the management of the park and to promote and develop conservation and wildlife protection.
It also acts as a sounding board and raises funds for park projects.
